Parenting teenagers at a time of rapid
brain development
This seminar will be led by
Dr John Coleman and will be based on
his book, ‘Why Won’t My
Teenager Talk To Me?’, which was published
in April this year.
As the founder of the Trust for the Study of
Adolescence, John Coleman has been
researching and writing about teenagers and their
parents for many years. His book,
Why Won’t My
Teenager Talk To Me?, combines this wisdom with new
knowledge
and research into brain development and brain
plasticity during adolescence. With
his insight and down-to-e
arth understanding of the needs of teenagers and
their
parents, this promises to be a stimulating talk for
anyone who is a parent, or indeed
who has been a teenager.
